A Modern Tool for Obstetric Care
The Digital Partograph Project is a collaboration between leading obstetricians, software developers, and designers. Our goal is to create a user-friendly, evidence-based tool that helps healthcare providers deliver the best possible care to mothers and babies.
The digital partograph is based on the WHO partograph, a widely-used tool for monitoring labor and identifying potential complications. By digitizing this tool, we aim to make it more efficient, accurate, and accessible for healthcare providers around the world starting with Uganda.
Our digital partograph tracks a range of important data points during labor and delivery, including:
- Contractions (frequency, duration, and intensity)
- Fetal heart rate
- Maternal blood pressure
- Oxytocin dose and administration
- Uterine activity
- Maternal temperature, pulse, and respiration
With this comprehensive data collected, healthcare providers can make informed decisions and identify potential complications early on.
